School Building
Shiuhkuang Branch School, 1971

Shiuhkuang Elementary School was originally the Shiuhkuang Branch of Wuri Elementary School, founded by the old principal Mr. Yang Chun-Yong. In September 1957, it officially separated from Wuri Elementary School to become Shiuhkuang Elementary School. The first principal was Mr. Yang Jin-Lian, and at that time, there were eight classes.

At that time, the old principal Mr. Yang Chun-Yong felt that students from Rongquan Village (now Rongquan Li), Xuetian Village (now Xuetian Li), and Sanhe Village (now Sanhe Li) had a long and arduous journey to Wuri Elementary School. He therefore consulted with local individuals enthusiastic about education to donate funds for the school. More than 40 landowners donated 8,841 square meters of land to establish Shiuhkuang Elementary School. In the beginning, the school buildings were simple and basic.

In 1995, 3,378 square meters of school land was acquired. In June 1996, the second phase of the educational facility renovation project was carried out, resulting in magnificent school buildings. Located on the hillside of Wangtian, it boasts a wide view and is known as the "highest" educational institution in Wuri District.

Current school building

Due to unresolved land ownership issues from the past, and to promote the development of the school and the locality, the school was relocated. In February 2017, it moved to the High-Speed Rail special district, integrating deeply into the community and becoming a new highlight of culture and education in the HSR area.

On August 3, 2020, groundbreaking for the second phase of the school building commenced, providing the growing number of students with an even better learning environment.
